Answered by Thibault Lemaitre, digital marketing consultant
It kind of just happened: I was studying Digital Media at the University of Brighton. Quickly, I realized that while coding and designing was powerful, it wasn't what I was good at.
I spent a lot of my time at home on Twitter, connecting with other likeminded people (this was 2009-2012). So I managed to land a position that was part Customer Support and part Social Media / Blog.
Since then I've continued balancing Marketing, Support, Social Media, and Content Creation.
If I had to sum it up, I'd say that I love understanding how users make the most of an app or a product, and I like assisting them in figuring out how to make the most of it.
