What are the factors that motivated you to become nomadic and start travelling?

We love culture, food, exploring new places, meeting people, and adventure. We work as a couple because we have always valued spending money on travel and food. I've always been jealous of people who are traveling for an extended amount of time, while we would pack a trip into just a week or two. On another note, living in San Francisco was financially unsustainable. We had been trying to get transferred with our jobs for a few years, to somewhere (anywhere) abroad and when we finally realized that was not going to happen we decided to take matters into our own hands.
