How does your freelancing income grow as a digital marketer?

I've rarely worked with clients for more than 18 months, so I've slowly increased my rates when I got on to different projects.

At the same time, I realize that a startup will not have the same budget as a bigger corporate company, so I try to adjust my rates based on the client too---to make it fair to everyone.

I haven't hit an income ceiling just yet: so far, every year has been better than the last, and this year should hopefully continue on that same trajectory.
