The biggest legal difficulty is the uncertainty surrounding digital nomads' compliance requirements (e.g. what country or state's laws they must follow), taxes, and enforcement (e.g. what country has the authority to enforce things like contracts).
Being a "digital nomad," is a relatively new phenomenon and the law has not yet evolved to answer many of the new and often complex issues that it creates.
