Which countries were the most difficult to work from during your travels?

Hands down the Philippines. This is ONLY because of the spotty internet infrastructure on the islands.

If you are staying in bigger cities this is not such an issue (it's better than what I have at home in Germany or right now in Spain) but the islands most notably Palawan) were frustrating to work from.

That being said, if it weren't for the need of good internet, the Philippines would be my favourite and I can't wait to go back to see more. Myanmar's wifi is also not the best but I took the days off when traveling there as I did not want to deal with those kind of issues. They have fairly good data coverage which is pretty cheap, so that would be an option when visiting.
