What are your best customer acquisition channels?

Erm...My customers come through via a mixture of platforms like Malt.com and through word of mouth, via my own network of friends and professional contacts.

Either way, as weird as it might sound, when I know that a project is wrapping up, I usually try to make myself vulnerable. I try to put myself out there and mention that I'm looking for new clients on my own channels: Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn.
