How to get your first client as an aspiring digital nomad?

I reached out to my existing network by letting people know that I have taken up an active interest in learning Facebook ads and that I would be happy to help them promote their products and services free of charge for a week. They only had to cover 100 EUR ad spend as a test.

Depending on whether I was able to provide them with results during that week, I would set up monthly retainers in order to get compensation for my work.

I highly suggest to not underestimate the power of one's social network. Even if some people personally do not have any entrepreneurial friends in their network, someone almost always knows an acquaintance who could require some assistance with marketing.

I messaged my entire Facebook friends list in the beginning and got a referral through a friend of mine.
