We will not travel to places with Malaria, and we need to be more careful about food or water borne illnesses now that our child eats food. When he was still breastfeeding, food/water illnesses was not a concern. We travel with his special stuffed bear, and a nice travel crib to keep his nighttime sleeping more consistent. He usually naps out and about in his stroller (but he did that while at home too), and his nighttime routine hasn't changed much . This consistency helps Otto sleep at night (which helps us sleep at night), and helps normalize the confusion and stress of traveling.
