If you had to start a remote business from scratch, what would you do?

If I had to create another business from scratch I would think of a product or service idea. Surely there is something in everyone's life ‘I wish it could be done in a different/better/more efficient way" or "I wish this product/service existed, it would make my life so much easier". Chances are, other people have the same problem. By first finding the market, identifying the problem and then creating a product or service to solve it, it will be easier to sell since you're already know there is a demand for it. But you definitely have to be passionate about it, otherwise it will be difficult to keep running and putting your time into a business that you're not interested in.
