Can you give some advice for someone who has absolutely no clue on how to start an online business?

Yes! Here they are:
- Read The 4 Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss, Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson, The $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau, and The 7 Day Startup by Dan Norris;
- Go to as many local entrepreneurship/business events in your local area and connect with people there (if there are no events in your local area, participating in communities like BeRemote is a great alternative to that);
- Test every idea you have as quickly and as cheaply as possible;
- Make sure that your business is the kind of business that makes money from day 1 and that it can turn a profit in the first month;
- Outsource and automatize as much as you can;
- Focus on one very niche thing that isn't "sexy" in many people's eyes and become the best in the world at that - there's very little competition there;
