How do you go about creating online courses from scratch?

Answered by Lukas Paskauskas, engineer, programmer & marketer

I am not a camera person (at least not at this point in time!). It would become obvious if you saw my Instagram account with a spectacular follower amount - 210.

Instead, I partner with someone who is. I have no troubles creating and writing content, but at this point I do not film myself.

My advice when it comes to creating content is to not preach "feels-good" theories. You might be able to sell, but you will not be able to retain. And it is not good for business.

Instead, realize that there certainly is at least 1000 people around the world who might be interested in your particular skill set!

Example?

Well, I know there are people with extensive accounting knowledge. I know I would be more than happy to enroll in a "Accounting For Digital Entrepreneurs" class. I suck at managing finances and this would be of great help. I am sure there are plenty of people around the world with the same issue.

Are you great at planning, handling multiple clients or something related? Build a course around that, where you simply state what you do on a daily basis. You might not know it, but you certainly have created your own little way of handling tasks. This novelty will have LOTS of value for someone else. :)
