What do you show people who visit the landing pages of products or services that don't exist?

Answered by Lukas Paskauskas, engineer, programmer & marketer

Well, you would not send more than 100 people to a MVP landing page. If 100 people make or break one's business, the demand is way to low to even go into that market!

In addition, if you really want to not lose any customers, you could have a fake buy now button. This button would then pop a notification stating "hey, so we are out of stock, but if you want to be told when we have our awesome products again, leave your email address below."

When it comes to landing page of an MVP, it is really important to have the empathy map of your future customers done. With that, you can create most of the conversion switches (elements that persuade people to click on a buy now button)

  • Magic want solution headline
  • Benefits
  • Features
  • Statistics
  • Testimonials (instead of faking it, you can actually ask friends to write about your ability to deliver)
  • Scarcity elements
  • Urgency elements
  • Credibility elements (guarantees, logos of your partners, assurances and credit card icons, T&C page)
  • Compelling About Us section.
