Does the 80/20 principle apply in freelancing?

It varies, but generally speaking, yes: Pareto All The Way. Some clients make the most of my income, but I take more pleasure working on other projects.

I view my freelancing career as a progression where:

• Some projects pay well.
• Some projects excite me.
• Some are a bit of both.

The last are the ones I want to focus on as much as I can.
