How do you deal with objections from family members and friends?

Honestly, we have not gotten a ton of objections. Perhaps because our family is already very used to our adventures. We also lived in San Francisco which is far from the East Coast where most of our family lives and where we are from. So as long as we promised to still visit for Christmas they were fine.

Funny enough, it seemed most of the "objections" didn't come from people criticizing our choice but more so trying to justify why they couldn't do the same. "Oh I'd love to do that but I have 2 kids." Or "I'd love to do that but I have a kid in school."
