As a freelancer, do you think knowing more languages would help in getting clients/work?

Absolutely!

Whether that's from a practical place of finding clients in other places in the world, or even better, from a place of empathy and cultural understanding: learning a language changes your mindset, just like traveling does.

So when you learn about a different language or a culture, it's easier for you to understand the local people and the local companies, and their unique challenges.
