What advice do you have for absolute beginner entrepreneurs?

Answered by Lukas Paskauskas, engineer, programmer & marketer

Learn to sell. When you are starting up, everything else is secondary.

I had a mentor in this startup incubator I mentioned. He told me something in the lines of:

"Lukas, we have landed on the moon. Anything can be build. What matters is the demand. If the demand is high enough, you will be able to hire top talent, engineers, designers, even a CEO. Make sure your sales are through the roof, as it is the heart and soul of a startup company."

Then, this Timothy Marc guy was preaching the same idea. I think he still has it on his website.

When you approach sales scientifically, you will start thinking about your product, customers and creating value.

And you will approach business with more of no-nonsense attitude, which I think is good.
