How do you handle work burnouts along the road?

Generally, unless I was on a deadline, I'd allow myself some time either sleeping in, or going out to explore.

If I'm on a deadline, I look forward to the finish line because when I get paid, I can relax, and look back on how it's all been worth it in the end.
