Should you write your own terms and conditions and privacy policy or hire a lawyer?

As a professional, I must say hiring a professional. First, a professional is going to have more experience and may know of issues you don't. Second, even though you likely could put in work to learn and understand the law, it will take you longer than it would take a professional and that is time spent not working on your business.
