The start of the digital nomad journey is really tough for me - I'm trying to build something on the side while having a full-time job. However, when I come back home from work I feel so tired I simply can't force myself to work on any new projects. Any advice?

Awesome question! I think it's a really good idea to not quit your full-time job and 'just go for it', because building up a remote income requires a lot of effort and there might be a little bit of dumb luck involved.

So the best course of action is to start something on the side while you still have your full-time gig.

If your work takes up so much of your time that you don't have tons of energy for your side project, outsource and focus on incremental progress.

Let me explain:

Outsource. Don't try to do everything yourself and outsource as many tasks as you can to other people. If you're building a translation business, hire other people to translate the texts; if you're building a photo editing business, hire other people to edit the photos; etc.
Focus on incremental progress. Don't try to do everything all at once. Set yourself a very easily achievable goal that'd only take up 15-30 minutes of your time per day. If you're outreaching to agencies to sell your services, send only 15 e-mails per day; if you're creating online courses, film one lesson (or one part of a lesson) per day. Remember - doing something every day is crucial, because it all adds up.

If you only send 15 e-mails per day, that's 450 e-mails per month and 5,400 e-mails per year; if you only film one lesson per day, that's 30 lessons per month and 360 lessons per year.

It doesn't matter how much time it'll take you to become a digital nomad - if you keep taking little steps towards your goal every single day, you'll get there eventually.
