How do you choose a specialty when becoming a digital nomad for the first time without regretting it further down the line?

I think it's all about enjoying what you do. I mean loving your work is very important whether you're remote or not, but when you work remotely, you tend to not see your colleagues or clients face to face too often, so it's incredibly important to be self-motivated with your work which is difficult to do if you simply don't enjoy what you're doing.

So figure out what you honestly love doing and to try it. If it doesn't work out (or you lose interest), try something else. And something else. And something else again. Keep trying until one of those things works out - because it sure will!
