This makes me laugh when I remember it. I had NO IDEA about business. I started coding apps on iOS and then noticed these guys from Ketchapp were making a killing with iOS games.
So I started building games and reaching out to publishers. I got a contract with someone who has close ties with Apple. That would mean that if my game is published, it would be featured on App Store wall. Tremendous exposure, huge surge in users, $$$ on my account thanks to the Chartboost Ad Network.
Sweet, right?
Well, a week before publishing, the guy canceled because my app was no longer a good fit for his portfolio. This got me really sad.
Not proud of it, but stopped developing at that point. Was quite an emotional blow. I still think it is really lack of character from my side to give up after one big blow.
