There were certain countries I wanted to go to, and based on that, I figured I could explore other neighboring countries around. Korea was one of the countries where I thought "Why not?!" and it turned out to be one of my favorite ones.
I knew I wanted to go to Australia, but I didn't have a fixed plan until I made my way there and decided to visit Sydney, take a solo road trip to Melbourne, and head over to Brisbane.
Originally, I was going to spend some good time in Japan, with my girlfriend, but it was around the time that North Korea flew missiles over Japan. So we had to revise our plans and decided instead that we'd travel back towards the Middle East and Europe before heading to the US. Basically, we had a general idea of where we wanted to go, and then we changed the plan as it fit us, during the course of the trip.
