As a freelancer, do you prefer local or foreign clients?

I prefer meeting foreigners - there are many reasons as to why I left France and I wouldn't want to live or work in France in the long-term. BUT my professional network is 50% French, so it's easier to get French clients in a global world.

That being said, I'm in an interesting mindset where, even when I have a meeting in French with French people and French companies, I naturally take my notes in English. My brain's messed up. :D

If anything, I'm better at expressing myself in English than in French most of the time.
