How did you create a portfolio for your programming projects?

Answered by Lukas Paskauskas, engineer, programmer & marketer

It all started while I was still learning to code.

One evening I opened the Apple website for developers and went through their tutorial. Picked up Objective-C, a few months later - Swift.

I built games for iOS (that was my first business). Then, a year later, I discovered Udacity. They offered a full stack development course. I really had no idea about networking, back-end development or even databases, so I gladly took it. It is an exceptionally well built programme and I can highly recommend it.

They even assign you some projects which then become your portfolio! I landed a job in a high tech startup at the incubator close to my uni. I was not even done with the Udacity programme, but they hired me based on the knowledge I had at that point! The programme is that good - highly recommended.
