What are the best e-books for becoming a digital nomad?

I have a personal preference for novels and old-school-paper. I'm not a big expert in nonfiction, so I couldn't recommend any eBooks on this subject. What I do have is a piece of advice on readings: before going to a new destination, or when you're there, read a book written by a local author and set in that country. It will offer you amazing insight into the culture and help you feel more connected to the place. If you don't know what text to choose, try to get recommendations from locals. As for me, my all-time favourite is "One hundred years of solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, if you're planning a trip to Colombia make sure you have it in your bag or downloaded on your e-book reader.
