How important is it to put a face instead of a logo/name in social media marketing as a freelancer?

I'm a freelancer, so everything I do, personally and professionally, comes from me.

Like Jay-Z said: I'm not a businessman; I'm a business, man!

What that means is that YES! I try to be as open as I can. That way when someone wants to work with me, they can get an idea about my personality and the type of things that I enjoy doing. It's similar to dating: you don't just want to find a mate, you want to find someone exciting, who lifts you up and adds value to your life. Not a robot or a silent companion.
